About Us
At Kuala Lumpur Youth Soccer (KLYS), respect and teamwork form the foundation of everything we do. Our mission is to develop character, determination, and a passion for football in every child, helping them reach their fullest potential. We focus not only on technical skills, but also on diet, behavior, sacrifice, friendship, respect, and confidence — key values that extend far beyond the pitch.
We see football not just as a sport, but as a school of life and a philosophy. “On the field, just like in real life, we must teach young people to be independent, responsible, and able to make decisions. Children from all nationalities work together — football is only one part of the journey.”
With over 200 players, KLYS has achieved remarkable success both locally and internationally, producing athletes who excel on and off the field.
Our Achievements
Celebrating 20 Years at the Gothia Cup (Sweden) – Honoured with a commemorative trophy in recognition of 20 years of representing Malaysia at the world's largest international youth football tournament.
SEACUP Overall Champions – 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2019.
SEACUP – An invitation-only tournament featuring top teams from Southeast Asia across the U10, U13, U15, and U18 age groups.
Gothia Cup (Sweden) Representatives – Proudly representing Malaysia at the Gothia Cup since 2005, competing against elite youth teams from around the world.
ESPN Disney Cup Champions (U18, Florida, USA) – International champions, showcasing the strength and success of our youth development programme.
